The Poulsbo Twilight Crit is a 2017 Washington BARR Senior Championship race. BARR points are awarded 10 deep in all categories. Anyone who lives in WA, OR & North Idaho and is a USAC member is eligible to win the WSBA championship jersey.

Cascade Criterium Series Points Competition
Points will be awarded ten deep: 5,4,3,2,1,1,1,1,1,1. In the event of a tie, the racer with the highest position in the previous race is awarded the points with the other racer moving one down on the points awards. The Points leader will be called up at the beginning of each race in which he/she is a competitor to be acknowledged and start at the front of the peloton. The leaders jersey will be awarded at the completion of the series to the racer having the most points in each category.

Collegiate Races
Collegiate categories will be mixed with the other races and scored separately, as shown in the race schedule.

The Course
The Poulsbo Twilight Crit flows counter-clockwise through the heart of downtown Poulsbo, allowing spectators to feel the breeze as the bikers race past. The course is about 3/4-mile long, including six corners, with a slight uphill coming around to a fast downhill finish.

Registration for 2017 is now open!

Pre-register online at usacycling.org. Race fee is $30 in advance or $40 day-of. Day-of registrations open at 2:30pm and closes 10 minutes prior to race. Additional race fee is $20.

USAC license required to race. One day License available for purchase at registration for Cat 5 Men & Cat 4/5 Women. All other categories must have an annual USAC license ($70), which can be purchased in advance at usacycling.org (not for sale at the race).

All USA Cycling Rules will be enforced!
Riders must sign a waiver + wear an approved helmet.
Fields that race together will be scored separately.
Promoter reserves the right to combine or split races based on the number of riders.

Race Numbers
WSBA bib numbers will be used and can be purchased in advance at wsbaracing.org (not for sale at the race). Rental numbers will be available at the race for a $10 fee, $5 of which will be refunded upon return of number. For out-of-state riders there is no fee to rent a number, just the $5 deposit.
